can be!) – it’s also about getting out, getting paid for your hard work
and seeing your creation carry forward under a new owner.

We believe that selling is achievable and that every owner should
take steps to maximize their future earnings from a potential sale.

Very Small Businesses came about after Ann and Murphy worked together on a number of business sales.

Having worked in or owned very small business in Orange County, California, they were both frustrated about the lack of services available, especially as it pertains to selling. They decided to do something about it. They wrote a book about selling your own business and then launched Very Small Businesses with the aim of helping owners of very small businesses who are ready to sell.

Murphy

Murphy has her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and master's degree from the University of California, Irvine. She spent ten years owning Pilates studios, buying and selling multiple studios as well as networking with very small business owners. Prior to owning small businesses, she worked in the corporate world, holding jobs in marketing and market research. RE: 02225358

Ann

Ann Raber has a BA in history with a concentration in nonfiction writing from the University of Houston, in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
