We feel very strongly that many small business owners are capable of selling their own businesses. They simply need some strategic direction, often with sales materials and valuation.
We help owner operator businesses and other very small businesses with their business sales by developing sales materials, creating valuations or simply offering advice on navigating the deal.

Very Small Businesses came about after Ann and Murphy worked together on a number of business sales.
Having worked in or owned very small business in Orange County, California, they were both frustrated about the lack of services available, especially as it pertains to selling. They decided to do something about it. They wrote a book about selling your own business and then launched Very Small Businesses with the aim of helping owners of very small businesses who are ready to sell.
Murphy
Murphy has her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and master's degree from the University of California, Irvine. She spent ten years owning Pilates studios, buying and selling multiple studios as well as networking with very small business owners. Prior to owning small businesses, she worked in the corporate world, holding jobs in marketing and market research. RE: 02225358

Ann Raber has a BA in history with a concentration in nonfiction writing from the University of Houston, in her hometown of Houston, Texas.
